HELLOOOO

Well
My goodness
I feel a bit....emosh...

PART THREE EH? And...you've come back for more?! THANK YOUP!

In this episode were monologues by these wonderous souls:

A wish for my forever by William J Meyer,
Her two faces by Danyelle Ellet,
Phaedre by Faith McQuinn
and a wondrous poem - Glow by Cheyenne Bramwell

AND they were narrated by these FANTASTICAL PEOPLES - Erika Sanderson, Danielle Ellet, Cheyenne herself, and Jordan Cobb.

Do send them messages of joy and happiness if you enjoyed their works!

Have had an absolute ball putting this together. Love love love ALLLL of the AMAZING narrators and of course the wonderful writers who made this whole shebang possible. Is this...whimsical? Maybe? Fun? I hope so....I LOVE new writing, I adore listening to brilliant voice actors bring words to life and I enjoy writing harmless fun and hopefully some enjoyable entertainment with a loving space bent.

Sorry about the cow thing.

I just can't help what happens in my little busy brain.

As you can see, I didn't use many real sound effects - apart from blowing a raspberry into the mic for the cowpat. But...instead tried to use sound noises made by the audacity DAW and the ghost hack pack I recently bought. See. I don't have a lot of sound effects and...well...I'm still not sure about all this CC license malarkey so just steered clear.

If you would like to hear more QUIRKY VOICES FUN please do let me know! Its a big ole void out there and any feedback is amaazinnggggg! Either by sending things to quirkyvoices@gmail.com, or jumping on my twitter @SarahOfGolding or @QuirkyVoices

I LOVE voice acting too and do a podcast about how to become one for indie audio drama - its called MADIVA PODCAST and is on most podcatchers....if it's not on yours, lemme know!!

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR LISTENING. Means a lot. I hope to do more so...if you want to ping me a moonologue of your own...do! And send me plot developments, what happened next...anything you like!

I owe so much to Tanja Milojevic for being simply awesome all of the time and the cast and writers for bearing with me whilst I got myself gently organised. Find her in so many podcasts and look out for her produced works with Lightning Bolt theatre of the mind.

THANK YOU to the dulcet toned Bret Maskill-Watts as narrator,

and

The amazing John of Caalo Xan for his music - find out more here

And to ALLLLL of my amazing Patreon Supporters who have made this show even possible....a huge thank you for your support. If you would like to help me get (an editor) better at editing, some actual sound effects, or just help fuel more fun projects, please go to my

And none of this program would be possible without the amazing patriotic for quirky voices. So Elma artists, soapbox, audio, oblivious productions, Chan Brown, Christine, Hazel Kareem, and Karen Kirstie, Matthew, Michael, Paul, and William. This is for you, for you, our legend. Enjoy. Oh, and this awesome music is by Carlo sod and joy

Speaker 1:

[inaudible].

Speaker 3:

Hello, welcome to the Moodle logs. Port three

Speaker 4:

Oh yeah. See what I love though is that, see, although we're at different ages and in different places and what me and yeah, I mean you meet with me and everyone really did. We were still, we're still all born under the same moon when we, and you know when you, when you do look up, but night, your night, my night, we see the same face. Don't be the face of the moon. Like,

Speaker 3:

well, I love that. Me too. Look at it now. Getting closer by the second earth, falling behind the us. Make a wish. Why?

Speaker 4:

I don't know. Just feels appropriate.

Speaker 3:

I can't think of anything.

Speaker 4:

What? Well, should we just get the next story fueling this joy machine and maybe they'll help you going to Asia? Actually no, I was going to but but the amazing Ericka sun doesn't erect this one full. She is

Speaker 5:

a wish for my forever a moon monologue by William J. Mayer narrated by Erika Sanderson. It's time different out here. Is it? I don't mean because of the curvature of space time or any of that. I mean because time is the stuff, the real stuff, the pliable stuff and it's inside you bound to, you're living your loving, you're wondering affected more by Whoa and joy than gravity. It stretches. It twists. It's elastic, right? I think so. I've been waiting forever waiting to see you, but maybe today time the real stuff, we'll retract the, my forever will end. Okay. I don't mean forever as in always ever and yes, I'm looking at you even now. What I mean of course is essential time. Time for being empty. That's what time should be for not measured up. Not counted down should, but mostly time is for the waiting and that's a different kind of empty. I know it can never be like it was simply can't be. Maybe that's for the best, but the choice was made for us and change arrived with a wallet, a traumatic impact smashed as apart forever. I guess the keep using forever. She sound stupid. Yesterday Thea came between us. Not her fault. I mean she was just being there. Right. Should I be grateful? Yeah, I guess she kind of made me what I am and yes you too. Love is like that. Sometimes a tangle of glistening threads, but the web is still invisible somehow. But that doesn't change the fact that we had no choice. It's cold and lonely out here. I don't like that. But I know the catastrophe gave you all that water as a parting gift. So I guess, I guess I shouldn't be too upset. The water grew for you, all that wonderful green stuff. It's pretty looks good on you still. Whenever I dwell on it, yes. I admit I dwell on it. I get so worked up so angry. Sometimes I turn red, not healthy. Let it go. I know. Let it go. The problem is the pain is comfortable. Do you mind if I admit that still? I promise I won't do anything rash. Nope. I don't really have a dark side. No matter what you've had after the crash, the accident, we can call it to be nonjudgmental if we must. Well, eventually, eventually I settled down, pulled myself together, but you must know we were one. Now we are too and I miss you. I keep looking for a sign. You're thinking of me, but you always seem to have your attention turned the other way. Busy with floods and eruptions and then all that animal malarkey. How do you stand it? All of them touching you all the time. Yeah, they go crazy and now this new thing, tiny little lights always on somewhere. Yes. Wing King. Even there flirting with me is that you? All the gross Harry things always searching you and who knows? What are they looking for? Joy? Did they misplace their woe? Is that a time elastic too? One day. I thought big sassy was visiting, kept seeing these bright splashes all on you. Some we don't bake too. Then I saw that they were being dropped, dropped from shiny toys. Who drops? Splashes. I was worried. Worried they'd make you sick. Sick with lights. I wanted to help, but I just keep drifting away. Well, the hairy ones came from you? I suppose so I suppose. I suppose if I love you then I should love them too. It's just not easy seeing the way they treat you. Children can be so ungrateful sometimes. Sometimes it makes me cry, so I see today they're paying me a visit. I will set out my best rocks and set my gravity low for their amusement. I want to make a good impression, but what are they here for? To be sure I'm real or something. I know sometimes that which is so beautiful can be thought only in illusion, a fantasy, but no, I'm definitely real. My heartache tells me so. Oh, that's them. Your vulgar little monsters. Okay. Okay. Sorry. They just landed in their cute little boat. Seems like it took them forever. I said it again, but time really is different out here was only yesterday I held you close four and a half billion years ago. No. Yes, no. Your children, they finally made it and with them, my last hope, one of them stepped on me. How can you stand it? Oh, I hope they realize. I want them to take some of me back to you. An offering and a wish so I can stop waiting and my forever can finally end.

Speaker 6:

Okay. Lats want small steps.[inaudible] want John bleep or man calling.

Speaker 3:

Oh my God. Have you planned what we're going to say when we land? Like who's going first? What words of wisdom do we share?

Speaker 4:

Well, you know, I haven't really thought of that. Maybe while this next piece is on, we could practice saying saying some things together. Maybe.

Speaker 3:

Cool idea. I am so gonna fall down those steps. First thing to touch the moon will be my face.

Speaker 4:

No, I was taking the same but see my gravity force is heavier on my other end side. That'd be Oh mighty boom. As my ass hits the moon dust for the first time. Bull cost in all its audio glory. Oh,

Speaker 3:

does sound sound different on the moon? Um,

Speaker 4:

which we listened to this wonderful poem by the also one full sham and we can Palm that

Speaker 7:

hello written and narrated by Cheyenne Bramwell. Yup, that's me. Glow. You hang there silent every night. Gleaming with heavenly light. I hope you're never very lonely. That stars are good company and don't treat you too coldly. We met you before. I hope you didn't mind it. Us marring your dust with, I know it's been years since we visited, but we've never forgotten you. Our resources are just limited. If I could strap wings to my heels through the clouds, I'd plow and I'd be up there with you right now. But since gravity won't let me go, I'll have to stay here and silently Marvel at your wonderous glow.

Speaker 3:

Love that. Yeah. You have a, a wondrous glow. Do you do Tanya, are you trying to say I'm fat? Of course not. Why can't folks take compliments anymore? I've got a feel like the, the dusty moon in comparison to to life given the sun next to you, Sarah. That's the nicest thing you've ever said to me.

Speaker 1:

No.

Speaker 3:

So we just listened to the next monologue and then face do it.[inaudible]

Speaker 8:

her many faces an audio monologue written and performed by Danielle Elliot

Speaker 2:

[inaudible].

Speaker 8:

She looks up at me with the same curious expression that we once all possessed before the earth rotated too many times for our sense of wonder to stay stuck to us. The unseen centrifical force too much to keep the feeling of wonder. I can see the moon. She says, pointing towards the proscenium of a cloudless blue sky as the nighttime or faintly peaks her head out around the curtain despite the leading lady of the sons. Current soliloquy. Yes you do. I reply, but why? She says, repeating what has become her youthful catch phrase. I am taken back to a time when I was the inquisitive child and my mother, Oh my library of never ending knowledge. I smile and he hear my mother's voice, my grandmother's voice, and hers before her echoed in the response long ago when the earth was shaped and the sky dotted by stars, the goddess of creation gave birth to two perfectly equal sisters, one pale and one golden

Speaker 9:

[inaudible].

Speaker 8:

The goddess told the sisters to live above the earth and be helpful to the people she had newly created there and so they did

Speaker 6:

[inaudible]

Speaker 8:

the moon and the sun took their turns in the sky full and round and happy, happy until the humans they were to watch over began to shower the golden sister with praise. They built pyramids in honor of the golden sister. They wrote songs of worship thinking her and admiring her for all she gave

Speaker 10:

them.[inaudible]

Speaker 8:

the sun grew in stature. While

Speaker 10:

the moon diminished,

Speaker 8:

shrinking in size with the lack of love from those she was sent to care for jealous of her sister. The moon began to change her face. Maybe if I wear a different face each night, the humans may come to love me. They still loved the sun more. Perhaps if I disappear completely, they will realize how much they miss me and will honor me as well. Okay, and so she hit herself away. Yet the humans only praise the sun more. When the light of day returned after such a dark and treacherous night in frustration, the pail sister decided to cross her siblings path eclipsing the son with her own smaller form, hoping that the humans would love her more. Now

Speaker 6:

[inaudible]

Speaker 8:

the humans fell to their knees and horror begging the sun to come back and the moon to stay in her rightful sky.

Speaker 6:

[inaudible]

Speaker 8:

she retreated back to the night vowing to run away and leave the earth completely. It was then not the creatures of earth. Those that treasured all she offered them, begged her not to go. The wolves how songs of appreciation towards the moon and hopes of making her stay. The waves of the ocean pleaded with the moon, promising that they would do her bidding if only she remained pacified the moon promise to stay with the earth so long as the creatures and the waves sung her praises and obeyed her commands. To this Jay, the promise has not been broken, but every now and then the jealous sister still checks in on the humans looking down on them from a mid day sky hoping to hurry her sister a long that she may reign over the skies once more.

Speaker 2:

[inaudible]

Speaker 8:

my daughter looks up at me as the Wolf does to the moon. Adoration in her eyes. I pray with my own heart that she will love me this much for always

Speaker 2:

[inaudible]

Speaker 4:

Oh, that one hit brilliant. We went super Spady. They were landing. Now how enough did you program this thing to land? I was busy painting an amusing picture of a moonscape with surreptitious boobs on the other side of the Hill when you were, when you were finishing the wiring. So I didn't see,

Speaker 3:

I just made a button here and wrote land

Speaker 8:

on a

Speaker 4:

that said PUA seven.

Speaker 3:

You're reading upside down.

Speaker 4:

I just said that. That makes sense cause I thought what, what is it P UASF well, feel. I've been completely disorientated to vanish because you know, we've been floating around since we got out of that. All back to how can the boo sleep like that? Right? It's not much a gravity put a tool in here.

Speaker 3:

Nope. Most of my dirty moon just blobbed across the instruments. Ah, I think it's all okay. So hang on to something Nabu lay down. I mean, lay in the air there. Good boy

Speaker 8:

landing beautifully. Smoothly is not[inaudible].

Speaker 3:

Well we couldn't find a good sound effect. So gets around that one.

Speaker 4:

Well, I think that landing, so, but it's up and remember kids drink responsible, especially if you're driving a spaceship. What's the ship called?

Speaker 3:

Um,

Speaker 4:

penguin.

Speaker 3:

Penguin. A flightless bird. I don't like penguins. Okay.

Speaker 4:

The penguin has landed. Hey. Okay, well we'll get the suits on and take a look outside while this next monologues doors fuel for takeoff. Yes. Now this is one of my fav audio drama writers. Faith. She writes, boom. So good. So good. And rated by one of my favorite voice actor. She's been on my diva podcast too. Did you listen to that episode? So good. Oh hell yeah. Made notes to catch the helmet.

Speaker 11:

Pedro by faith and Quinn narrated by Jordan. Carb of yanas descending and no such thing productions in the 17th century. Thomas Harriet looped through a telescope and saw the moon in the 20th century. Neil Armstrong set foot on 2023 Aly Harbor. We came the first to walk on the moon, but you know of there is something you don't know back on the moon this time.

Speaker 12:

Tell me,

Speaker 11:

uh, no. I told you it was, uh, a year long mission to help train the other astronauts here. Luna. Not since they've started calling themselves, but I lied. I'm going to be a permanent resident on the Luna base along with amigo, a Shiro live Balanoff and a Gibbons. You know them all and you know we'll take care of each other here. I'm sorry that I didn't tell you until I was here that I plan to stay a new, you try to stop me because, well, you make up a reason like, mom, you're retired, mom. What about your grandchildren? But the real reason would be you miss me. Oh, miss you too, because you are my heart. That's also why I couldn't tell you because of fear. You would have convinced me to stay on earth, but I need to be here a need to do this. When I was a little girl, I sat in my room and stared up at the sky at the bright white globe that cold to me every night. I was happiest when it was full. I was sad when it was new and now I'm here and I can see it every day. I can help all world build another so that we can not only travel to MAs, but live there as well. I love you. Hone it. Donate me. Talk soon, mom.

Speaker 13:

[inaudible]

Speaker 3:

that was crazy. I wonder if she's still here age before beauty.

Speaker 14:

Thanks for that and I've gone identity just jumped together, right? You remember the number? We're going to say once we won two then okay. On three Oh eight in otitis down there already in conduct is in my tin has gross.

Speaker 3:

Speaker 15:

Ah man.

Speaker 14:

Oh my gosh. Let's jump anyway in one.

Speaker 16:

Oh. Oh boy. What?

Speaker 14:

Well don't you spend a top,

Speaker 17:

Because that challenge is one that we are willing to accept. One, we are among willing to postpone and one we intend to win. And the others too. John F.
